How does it work?

During New Thinking you’ll learn how to take control of your relationship with the foods you love rather than be controlled by them. This will allow you to continue losing weight while starting to eat your favourite foods and then maintain your weight loss while including them as an ongoing part of your healthy, new diet. Without mastering this skill, you are at significant risk of overeating or even bingeing.

One alternative to prevent bingeing is to never eat your favourite foods or the foods you binge on ever again. The reality is that people are more likely to binge, and have a bigger binge, if they try to completely avoid the foods that they love. Eventually, you will come across these foods and what happens then? Add a couple of glasses of wine into the mix and, well, you’re only human!

So rather than wait for the inevitable, New Thinking is all about empowering you to take control over the foods that have controlled you. Learning to eat these foods as part of a healthy diet is one of the most important lessons to be learnt on the Tony Ferguson Weight Management Program.

And remember, you can alternate between New Start and New Thinking as needed to suit your lifestyle. If you want to boost your weight loss you can go back to New Start at any time. Many people like the flexibility of being able to alter their plan to cater for the differences in their daily life.
